Online Therapy for Those Who are Feeling Overwhelmed or Disconnected, Even When Everything Looks Fine Outside
Therapy that meets you beyond words.
You may be used to talking, thinking things through, understanding your patterns, and still noticing that something doesn’t quite shift on the inside.
From the outside, things may look steady, even put together, but inside, it can feel very different.
If that feels familiar, you’re not alone.
My work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic approaches, offering a space to gently explore your inner experience and support your nervous system at a pace that feels workable for you.
Rather than focusing only on understanding, we also pay attention to what is felt and carried in the body, allowing a different kind of awareness to unfold over time.
I work with a limited number of clients to offer thoughtful, attentive care.
You might be here because…
You’re used to holding everything together.
You show up, think things through, and keep moving forward, yet something inside still feels hard to settle.
You might notice that:
You feel alone, even in your relationships
You carry a lot, but don’t feel supported in the same way
You understand your patterns, but they continue to show up
Your body feels tense, on edge, or sometimes shut down
You’re tired of carrying so much on your own
Part of you may be wondering if things could feel different, not by pushing harder, but by relating to yourself differently.
If this resonates, there’s nothing wrong with you.
Your system has been doing its best to support you in the ways it learned.
Together, we can gently explore what you’ve been carrying, making space to notice what’s happening inside with more awareness and care.
This is a space that includes your body, not just your thoughts, where things don’t have to be figured out all at once.
Hi, I’m Daiana Chapman (she/her), a licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #153249), practicing under the guidance of Beverly G. Fuentes (LMFT #106356)
My work is holistic and integrative, grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic approaches that honor the wisdom of both body and mind.
I am deeply committed to offering an affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive space, where different identities, cultural experiences, and ways of being are respected and held with care.
What you might be carrying
At times, you might find yourself experiencing:
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or mentally ‘on’ most of the time
Experiences from the past that still feel present in your reactions or body
Phobias
Life transitions in relationships, family, or career
Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, sensory differences)
Caregiving, parenting, and high levels of responsibility
Many of the people I work with are used to showing up for others and managing a lot on their own.
On the outside, they may seem steady and capable, while inside, things can feel heavy, stressful, or difficult to fully process.
To ensure high-quality care, I intentionally keep a small caseload. I currently have a limited number of openings for clients interested in IFS and somatic therapy.
Once these spaces are filled, I maintain a waitlist until availability opens again.

Who This Space Is For
This space is for women and those who identify as women who are used to being the ones others rely on.
You may be thoughtful, responsible, and deeply attuned to others, someone who shows up, follows through, and carries a lot with care
From the outside, you may seem steady, capable, and put together.
Inside, it can feel more complex, like you’re carrying more than you’ve had space to process.
You might recognize yourself in this if you:
Are used to taking on responsibility, both emotionally and practically
Value self-awareness and often reflect deeply on their experiences
Have learned to keep going, even when things feel heavy or unclear
Are beginning to wonder if there’s another way to relate to themselves
Whether you’re moving through a transition, feeling pulled in different directions, or simply noticing that something inside wants attention, this is a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone.
We move slowly, with care and curiosity, making room for your experience in a way that feels manageable and supportive of who you are.
While I work primarily with women and those who identify as women, I welcome individuals who resonate with this approach.
Mind-Body Connection
This isn’t about fixing you; it’s about creating space for your system to begin to settle and respond differently, at your own pace.
Many forms of therapy focus on insight and analysis. While helpful, they don’t always reach the parts of you where stress, fear, or old survival patterns are stored.
My work integrates body-based awareness and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to gently support your system in beginning to feel more settled and supported, allowing change to unfold from the inside out.
This is a space to slow down, with care and curiosity, where your thoughts, emotions, and body are all part of the process.
My approach integrates evidence-informed and compassionate practices, bringing together body-based and relational practices that support how you experience yourself, not just how you understand things.
Somatic Experiencing (SE): supporting how your body processes stress and experience
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): nurturing safe, connected relationships
Polyvagal Theory: supporting nervous system regulation & resilience
Internal Family Systems (IFS): bringing curiosity & care to all parts of you
Mindfulness practices: cultivating presence, balance, & self-awareness
Together, we’ll gently explore what’s beneath the surface, supporting your whole self with curiosity and compassion.
This is a space to reconnect, find balance, and grow at your own pace.
